NürnbergMesse Brasil, organizer of the country’s pharmaceuticals and cosmetology main events, announced the change to assure the safety of participants and, beyond that, to ensure a quality exhibition when the pandemic is over. According to health experts, April should be the month with the highest number of cases, for the virus should be contained only at the end of July.
“Although difficult, we believe that we took the best and most prudent decision, aiming at the integrity, safety and health of the participants and employees. In a scenario of uncertainty and people avoiding leaving home, keeping the June date would be irresponsible on our part. It is also worth mentioning that it will be Winter in June, a period with greatest spread of viruses and diseases, such as COVID-19.”, explains João Paulo Picolo, CEO of the German exhibition company.
The postponement of the events shows the company's commitment as a business platform that the market needs, now more than ever.
